The Sunset Getaway vacation rental is a 3 bedroom/2 bath chalet that features a very open floor plan with the kitchen, living room and dining room open to one another and great southern exposure sun. The cabin has been nicely remodeled with an updated kitchen and tasteful furniture appointments. In the summer, guests can enjoy the expansive front deck area and the property is within walking distance to Waterman's Landing Cafe & Beach (dog friendly) and Carnelian Bay. The winter enthusiast will appreciate that the cabin is centrally located to Northstar California, Alpine Meadows, and Palisades Tahoe and has a hot tub for the aprés ski sore muscles.
**For larger groups like weddings and family reunions, this property is about 5 houses away from the Manzanita Grove Cabin.
All Agate Bay Realty vacation rental properties are fully equipped with free high speed wireless internet, linens, bath towels (equal to the maximum occupancy of the house), pots/pans, dishes, microwave, coffee pot, blender, toaster, TV/TV's with streaming services, washer & dryer and barbecue (many are only usable in the summer). The house will also provide a starter set of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.

We had a 3 night stay and it was such an easy check in process! Cabin was clean, had everything you’d need for the kitchen, and even toys around for my daughter to play with. Also, had really good communication with them. They even went out of their way to send a wedding binder back to us that we left behind. Super grateful. We really had a great experience and will definitely be back!

Great spot for a family with kids. Upstairs was the designated kid room which they loved. Hot tub worked great. Fit a family of 6 + dog comfortably with extra room to spare. Interior was a bit dated but still provided that authentic Tahoe feel. Great wrap around deck, I enjoyed sitting out there and drinking my coffee in the mornings. Management company was very responsive. Ran into a small hiccup but they handled it very well and made it easy on me which I appreciated. Would recommend staying here.

Tucked into a quiet neighborhood, yet easy to find and close to town for groceries and restaurants. The cabin is cozy, with everything we needed for the few days. We felt safe with the bear precautions on the doors and windows. The hot tub was clean and in good shape. The fireplace was lovely to have and we all had a nice time. Would stay again
