A great place for families, we had the best experience!

This home was very big, one of the rooms even has 6 beds which make it feel like the sleepover room. There is no AC, so the rooms can get quite hot & stuffy in August. Just open the windows when it’s cooled down & turn on the fans, if you ask them, they’ll even bring extra fans! Kings Beach & many other local shops are close. Parking may be a bit of a hassle tho, but not impossible. They have many basic amenities like pots, pans, plates, & silverware, but bring your own bathroom amenities like shampoo & conditioner cause those aren’t provided. There’s 1 bathroom on each level, which is nice when you travel with a huge family. No more fighting over the bathroom! The neighborhood is safe & walkable. I took a stroll around 8pm & although it was dark, I still felt very safe, & it was quite peaceful feeling surrounded by nothing but tall trees. FYI:There’s still wild animals, like coyotes. Act smart! P.S. 7/11 = cheap souvenirs

Perfect place for our trip, we took 8 teenagers and the large room with 6 beds was perfect for their birthday trip. Close to Kings Beach but we decided to spend our day in the much quieter Carnelian West Beach. Make sure to bring water shoes for this area since it’s rocky not sandy.

We spent couple of days at the property and my whole family enjoyed, the property has a plenty room and it is well organized, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, very quiet neighborhood and very accessible to every point in the north Lake area. The host was very responsive and instructions were pretty clear.

Such a fun place to stay. It was truly perfect for what we needed: ample space, proximity to town, and a fun cozy atmosphere.

It was a wonderful place to stay in, close to restaurants, the beach , store, . It was a really nice cabin it is an old school one. Instructions were clear and very helpful. We well definitely book again.

This home was so lovely. we loved it there's so much room for your big family. The large upstairs room has 6 single beds and fit just right for grandkids. so a total of 3 rooms upstairs 1 room has 2 twin beds the other with a queen. and downstairs has 2 rooms with 1 queen bed in each. We didn't want to leave. this was how comfortable and at home we felt. The rental company kept in good communication with us throughout. We would definitely stay again.

My family stayed here for a week and we loved it! Just like the pictures, very cute cabin style house. Lots of extra towels (we were a large group) it is especially helpful when coming back and showering from the lake. Location was good! We were within 10-25 mins of everything we wanted to do. Had a great stay in Carnelian Bay with the family. This is a lovely and convenient spot! The hosts were communicative and we felt well taken care of.

The rental service was very sweet and accommodating! They had helped with any issues and checked in to make sure everything went smoothly. It’s a great location!

We all enjoyed our stay and thought this home was just perfect for us. The large bedroom was so awesome!!!! The kids were so excited. The entire home was so well stocked with everything you could imagine. We brought way more things than we needed and all beds were so comfortable. We would be happy to book here again. Love it! Very communicative and responsive team hosted us. Had all of the kitchen utensils, serving, and cookware we needed! Tons of room in Lloyd Lodge. The wifi did get a bit slow at times, but expected during a holiday weekend in Tahoe!

We planned a weekend getaway with four families, all with kids ages 9 and below. The communication from the time of booking till we vacated was very courteous, proactive and responsive. The place felt like home right away, clean, hygienic, practical, and had great entertainment options for the grownups and kids alike. We felt like we were living in a novel! The surrounding areas were great for a morning stroll (though we had to be careful of ice on the roads). While the garage was an exception (loaded with stuff and was unusable for parking), the driveway was good for all four cars, one of which was a minivan. And the heating indoors was excellent as well! In conclusion. would we want to return to this place given the chance? A 1000% yes!

Great location, satisfactory amenities, homey, perfect for large group and dog friendly! Could improve on little things, but would check it out for availability again in the future.

We were a party of 10 and there was plenty of space for everyone. The living room was really nice and heating worked well. I took off one star since I could not find laundry detergent and the queen bed upstairs was worn out and super uncomfortable (I could not sleep on it).

Location convenient to North Tahoe activities. Neighborhood setting. Helpful communications before check-in. The interior is somewhat dated, which was fine for us but might not be for everyone.

The whole lodge was beautiful and very good for family with kids. Checking in and out was very easy to follow.

Staying here was much better than i expected. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pots, plates and cups. My family and I utilized the grill which was clean and ready for immediate use. Plenty of towels for all the guests and location was great. When we had questions, responses were quick. I would stay here again for my next visit!

The house is very charming and in a great location. We were a group of eight people and had plenty of space to hang out in the living room/yard/deck. The 360 fireplace is amazing! There four double rooms and then the Harry Potter dorm room with six single beds. Short walk to the beach where you can get rentals and a little strip with store, take out and Gar Woods. Would definitely stay again

House is beautiful. Garage is filled with a lot of outdoor activity gear and the house full of board games. Kitchen had all essentials just maybe bring your own seasoning if your a particular cook like me. Neighborhood is lovely and the scenery front & back are spectacular. We got to enjoy on our last day snow and with the large window it was an amazing view.

Great location and very spacious!

Had a wonderful time while we were out there. The place is definitely family friendly. The central heating system worked really well, we did not feel the cold at all while it was snowing outside.

We booked a Last minute Road trip and did not Regret it. The Host was Fast at replying to All my Questions. Definitely Recommend the house if you want to Stay Close to some Amazing Scenery. Lake is Beautiful!! Thanks Agate Bay Realty for Making Our Family Road Trip Enjoyable.

The lodge with 6 beds above the garage with the fire place was great. We think the square footage is more like 2300+!! We enjoyed our stay! Plenty of sleds in the garage!

The driveway fits 6 cars. The company that rents this home are very nice.

Check in was super easy. Fantastic cabin for a family trip!

Beautiful home, clean and close to stores. Extra plus is if you need anything, you can contact them through email and they respond very quickly, within minutes.

Tahoe is amazing! This house is in a great spot to experience all that North Shore has to offer. There were 2 more beds than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. We really enjoyed our multigenerational family vacation. Everyone was comfortable. Thanks for the memories!

Wonderful property close to all attractions but far enough to keep the noise away. The living room is amazing for everyone to get together and have fun BUT the common room upstairs is just awesome, we were a large group and had a blast there playing games. Ours was a get together with friends after a long time and everyone absolutely loved it. All rooms were clean and kid friendly, we would highly recommend it for a family getaway or for a group of 6 or more!

very nice house, well-equipped, mostly well laid out. 6 bed bedroom is impressive. We appreciated permission to use sleds from garage. House heats poorly; important to not block vents in living room. Important to close door to 6 bed bedroom because gas fireplace vents from room, sucking warm air our of room. The system is inherently inefficient and the room has no ducts from central heating. It would be helpful if the house had one desk.

Amazing stay and house! Comfortably fit 11 people even with just two bathrooms as they were a good size. You can definitely fit 5 cars in the driveway easily and the amenities made for a comfortable stay. We didn't even miss not having a hot tub and loved building a fire in the living room each night which warmed the house nicely! Loft was surprisingly spacious and fit everyone with room to spare. It was great to have a dog-friendly place to stay that was central to everything and our pups loved the house and playing ball in the back of the property. Would highly recommend for a winter or summer stay and would book again!

Our stay was great perfect location just couple blocks away from main road but still far enough to play in the snow safely grocery store(Safeway) was about 10 mins away along with key pick up(check-in)

The property was great. A great Value in a great place. We really had a great time. We really appreciated the decor which made us feel right at home in Tahoe and also that everything was where it needed to be and we didn't have to go looking for a little things like light bulbs or screwdrivers or cups or pots. The big draw for this house is the mega bedroom with six twin beds in it and a fireplace. That thing was heaven for our kids during our stay. If you've got a large family it's a great value add.

This place was awesome!! It was definitely super spacious. The 6 bed room was really cute, it reminded me of a dorm room from Harry Potter! The location is really convenient as well. 5 minutes from a Safeway, and a short walk to the lake shore. All in all it was a good visit. The host is also very responsive to emails if you have questions or want to check in early. I definitely recommend this place!

Great place, tons of beds and room! We had to go buy a few small items (e.g. sponges), but nothing too crazy. Thanks for the great time!

It's a great place. The biggest room is a bit cold but in general it's a nice house! We really liked it!

We had 4 adults and 6 kids/teens. I loved the 6 bed loft/rm! So did the kids. It would be perfect for winter stays with the huge gas fireplace at the foot of the beds. Somehow i missed that there was a fifth br upstairs with another set of twin beds. The 2 queen beds downstairs were incredibly comfortable. Firm but super soft, my hip issue was non existent during our stay. The kitchen has service for 20+ and lots of pots & pans, a griddle, blender and coffee pot. There's a propane grill on the deck large enough to cook 4 tri tips and 10 baked potatoes all at once. Plus a side burner (where we made s'mores). The neighbors were great and offered bear tips and morning greetings. 8 of us shared the upstairs ba and left the downstairs ba to my inlaws. Super fast (dated, but efficient l) washer/dryer. All in all, the house is very well appointed. Agate staff was incredibly fast at responding to my emails (need more tp, trash bags, how do i tune tv, kid beach suggestions..etc, they always responded. Thank you, Agate! Can't wait to book a winter stay!
