Pfeiffer Vacation Cabin

The place was very nice, we got to see snow one day.

Very homey feel cabin, we look forward to returning. Took morning jogs in the neighborhood and enjoyed it very much.

We had a lovely weekend getaway. Communication was great and the location was exactly what we were looking for.

Great place to stay with the family we enjoyed everything.

Spent thanksgiving with the whole family and it was lovely. The kitchen was so well stocked- every kind of cooking tool you could want for a full thanksgiving meal. We brought two extra chairs from home and the table fit ten of us! Bedrooms were cute but small. Family room was cozy with a lovely fireplace and table to play games. Parking was a bit tight for three cars but doable.

I really recommend this property they have a bit of everything toys , board games condiments the kitchen is pack with plates, pot, pans , foil etc .. clean extra towels, blankets, Everything in good shape closed to the beach quiet neighbors it feel like home I love it

It’s a nice house in a beautiful area. There is a walk way to a local beach through the forest. While we were there the weather was pretty hot and it count definitely benefit from a more active ventilation - with just open windows it was too hot inside. Compared to other similar houses in the area I would definitely recommend this one because of the leveled backyard with the volleyball net. Hosts were extremely responsive and ready to assist.

June was the perfect time to go here, nice and quiet, gift shops was not far, lots of choices for beaches

The Cabin was fully stocked with utensils and clean. They also provide some cleaning supplies and the cabinets are labeled so you know where things go. The backyard was large and the kids had fun back there. The board games were a bit out of order but that’s to be expected. I would suggest you bring your own. The cabin had lots of sleeping space and plenty of towels and blankets. The area was very quiet. The agents were very quick to respond. Some of the furniture was a bit worn but overall comfortable. Pet friendly but you can’t leave your dog alone. Something to think about as some establishments and beaches are not dog friendly. I would definitely look into this when planning outings.

Came here with a group of 8 and everyone slept comfortably and was able to enjoy themselves. The location is great - 10 minutes from King's Beach, close to Safeway and restaurants, walkable to the lake, close to great hikes. The neighborhood is extremely quiet - like hear a pin drop on the street quiet - all in all a great stay for a big group and well worth the money!

We came for a get girls trip weekend and the house was perfect! Lots of group seating and abilities for all 10 of us to sit comfortably and connect with each other. The kitchen was nicely sized and well stocked, so it was easy to prepare our food spreads and eat as a group too.

The house is beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous woods and trees. The hot tub is great. It was able to keep up even in the midst of a crazy snow storm. The toilets don’t flush very well and we had a bit of an issue with that as the plunger provided don’t work at all. Other than that, it was really perfect.

My stay was great we had a family of 9 with a dog and it was amazing the back yard was very big, we went a week before Christmas and it was filled with snows, everybody in the area was really nice, the view was better then I imagined. I would recommend this place and would plan for more trips. The Host was amazing, answer all my questions and quick, during my stay, recommended some lovely places to eat.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the well appointed kitchen and relaxing spa. The house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac and had many games for the kids and plenty of space to play outside. Communication with host was great.

This place is in a very quiet and beautiful spot facing absolute nature. It is close to the lake and many restaurants/amenities. The cabin is modest in looks but is loaded with spices and kitchenware and games. We did not use the hot tub or badminton court. They exist and they also had rackets and balls that we did not use.

We enjoyed our time here. The location was very ideal for North Lake Tahoe.

This beautiful house was perfect for our little reunion. It's close to the lake, but tucked up against the woods so it feels remote. The hot tub is amazing. So glad we chose this one!

Great for a a decently sized group! We loved the backyard as there was plenty of space for the kids and dog to run and lots of room for the adults! House was well stocked and slept a good amount of people! Would definitely come back!

We had a beautiful stay here. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. My family enjoyed the hot tub. A nice spot to explore the north Tahoe.

We enjoyed our trip to Tahoe and really loved the outdoor deck and hot tub area. The overhead lights were lovely at night. The outdoor shower was also enjoyed. We anticipated walking to the lake on this trip but found that it was safer to reach it by car as the main street doesn’t have sidewalks. The host was quick to respond to any concerns we had while we stayed which was appreciated.

From location to cleanliness to surrounding to amenities - everything was on point. However, pictures of the other rooms are missing in the posting, beds squeak and the house needs some TLC.

This place will be in families memory for years!! The hot tub and deck was the hang out spot with a ton of room for kids to play out back and great hike to an amazing view from the back of the property. Kitchen had everything we needed. Kids bunk room was a hit. Can’t say enough good things about this home.

I was hesitant to rent this space because I don't trust when places don't have pictures of all the rooms. But the rest of my party wanted this one, and I'm glad it's the one we went with. Great location, great space for four couples and some dogs, great recommendations, easy check-in and check-out, super communicative rental agency. Everyone wants to go back and wants this cabin as their go-to. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean, kitchen was well equipped, hot tub was well maintained. Would not hesitate to rent from Agate Bay again.

Check in and out was great and even though someone might not answer right away leave a message and they will call you back or take care of it.

This amazing cabin has everything you will ever need!! Right up against the forest/hill, you feel pretty secluded. Great amenities too! Nice fire pit, volleyball court, hot tub, hammock, and BBQ. Not even including how nice the very spacious, rustic cabin! Great location too. Perfect AirBnB for a Tahoe trip, will definitely come back!

This cabin was as-advertised, clean, and the perfect fall weekend getaway for my group of 8.

It is a nice place, conveniently located close to Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadow. Hot tub comes in handy after the whole day on the mountain. We had some pretty good time there.

We really enjoyed the Pfeiffer House, it was a perfect mix of a vintage Tahoe cabin with modernized kitchen and bathrooms. Clean, well organized, and spacious! We were also pleasantly surprised by the sand volley ball court and fire pit area. It really was the perfect place for our family and puppy. We hope we can visit next summer too!

This cabin is very cute with all the amenities needed. The hot tub was nice.

What a great property! We had two families share and it was perfect with everything we needed and then some. The layout was great and having the backup to the Forest was peaceful. Close to beach and great trails nearby. Furthermore -the owner and manager was very accommodating and helpful as I left something valuable behind! Great property in a great location with great service. We hope to repeat next year as Tahoe is our favorite summer spot.

This was the perfect space for our family. It was near enough to everything that we didn’t feel like we were too far but far enough to feel as if we had our own space. All the information given to us was perfect. We didn’t feel like we were guessing about what to do with garbage due to the bear population, what kind of kitchen wear we needed (we didn’t need to take any), and we found other fun things to do because of additional information. It was a great stay!

This was a lovely cabin to get away to for a few days. My dogs and I loved the large deck with swinging gates to keep them contained. The kitchen was big an well appointed, which made cooking much easier. The rooms each have their own tv, although we mostly just watched movies together in the living room. The couch is huge and very comfy! 10/10 would recommend and definitely planning on coming back!

Amazing place with great running trails right out of the house, beaches nearby, and the backyard was all time! They have everything you need to cook and enjoy Tahoe.

A tremendous property with great amenities and amazing location! We so enjoyed our stay at this cabin for the first snow of the season!

This cabin is in a great location and is in a quiet neighborhood. We loved having the hot tub and in general just being able to relax in the woods while still being close to things to do in the Tahoe area. We had our dog with us and I love that we were able to bring her. We did encounter some dogs from surrounding cabins that came to visit the yard and left some nice poop gifts! But overall, those dogs did not really bother us or our dog. The kitchen was nice and had everything I could ask for!

The property is very ideal with its location within a few miles of everything you could want or need. It was also very nice to have the backyard connect directly to some trails. The house was very well-maintained and clean. As someone who is in health care, I may be even more particular with cleanliness and I can say that they've really done their utmost to make sure that cleanliness was paramount particularly during these times. It's also very well appointed. The hot tub was such a nice amenity, perfect for relaxing tired muscles. We all had a wonderful stay and would definitely rent this property again.

It was very cozy, spacious and we got to spend a lot of time inside the cabin. The deck was right in the middle of so many trees- it was lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is located in a good area. The cabin was clean, has a good heater, and has good amenities. It has a good amount of kitchen tools.

This place was perfect for our family get together. Fit 7 adults, 3 kids and a baby and was a beautiful setting with plenty of outdoor space in the back for kids to play. It was a short drive down to the lake which is absolutely beautiful! The check in and check out were easy. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our family meals. Very nice place. Our family had a wonderful 3 nights at this house.

Great house for a family get together. Stocked with games (indoor and outdoor) and great badminton court and horseshoe pit. Hot tub and BBQ grill worked great. We had the kids, spouses and grandsons all together for the week and the place was just right!

Amenities were beyond what we expected. Especially the collection of spices was very nice. The hot tub was clean and well maintained, however it's a bit dark at nights. The bathrooms were very clean and convenient. The laundry and the dishwasher saved us a lot of trouble. The bear party painting was absolutely scary.

The property is located in a great location, the company was quick with their responses and the coordination was seamless. We have a hard enough have time gathering our friends and loved ones to go to Tahoe, why make the rental process harder than it needs to be? I would hands down stay at this property again and any other properties they manage. Thank you so much!

We had a great stay at the cabin as part of a group of 8. The space was big enough to accommodate us comfortably. The hot tub, fire pit, fire place, and quiet neighborhood were all lovely!

My friends and I had an amazing experience here at the Pfeiffer Cabin in Carnelian Bay. We really enjoyed the outdoor aspects and homey feel to the cabin. We had enough privacy, but we're still centrally located in a cute town. I definitely recommend for a Tahoe get-a-way.

Our experience at the Pfeiffer cabin was exceptional, it had all the amenities needed for a wonderful vacation. The cabin accommodated our family's needs and was close to all our outings (rafting on the Truckee river, paddle boarding at Sand Harbor Beach, or simply laying out at Meeks Bay) as well as restaurants. The hot tub was a plus as well as the outdoor games. The cabin was cozy and very clean. We would rate this cabin a "100"!

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Close to Northstar and Squaw, very close to restaurants in Carnelian Bay and Kings Beach. Great backyard that opens up into the woods. Parking was limited though, given that the cabin sleeps 11 people and that there is no street parking in the winter. Overall, everyone had a great experience.

The Pfeiffer house is a wonderful vacation spot for multi family fun. The sandy backyard and upstairs bunk beds are especially enjoyed by the kids in the family. The Hottub is enjoyed also.

We really liked this place. Roomy and good value. It has a sand badminton court with rackets and kids toys (which our 2 year old loved), a hot tub, and a nice updated kitchen. Bedrooms were good size and adequately furnished. We will definitely return.

What can i say, The Pfeiffer Cabin was awesome! My family of 5 and another family of 4 stayed for a week and had a blast. The cabin set up so well for all 5 kids they loved the upstairs bunkbeds. We loved the location and the private backyard with the jacuzzi and some mean happy hour horseshoe tourneys. We will use the Pfeiffer cabin again next summer without a doubt. Also the staff at agate Bay reality were great, getting us all set up for what was a awesome week, Im already looking forward to next year.The Butters Family

Cabin was perfect. Great atmosphere, very rustic feel. Plenty of room for 8 people. Kitchen stocked with more than enough supplies for an extended stay.Close to the lake as well. Within walking distance.

Everything was grate. My grandouthers said best vacation, not boord one minnut. Garte location near everything. We will be back next year for sure.

Was a great place for a weekend getaway. The hot tub was great and having no one behind made it feel like you where in the woods. House is a little small but you are in Tahoe and don't spend much time in the house. New kitchen was a nice touch. WIFI worked and the house had cable. Great location.

With family members driving from 4 different states, would maybe not have worked out for us parking-wise except in the off-season like we did, but we had the entire cul-de-sac to ourselves and it was great. Quiet, peaceful and easy access to everything we wanted to do. A perfect family getaway, really enjoyed the hot tub too.

I have a big family with a lot of boys that are big and need their space. This home was perfect for our needs, outside area to play, indoor activities and a hot tub to relax. When it was time to unwind and relax inside we were not crowded or cramped in any way. When you have teenage boys that is very important! I will return to Tahoe and look forward to the friendly staff and a great place to stay at agate Bay Rentals.

Everything was ready for us. The neighborhood is great. The cabin backs right up against the forest so it is beautiful out on the patio at night. We were able to get some amazing pictures of the moon over the Tall Pines. The neighbors are close and the parking is minimal, but we were able to make it work and we had a wonderful vacation. The grocery store is only a mile away and we really enjoyed Gar Woods Restaurant on the Lake in Carnelian bay.

Tips : think about replacing mattresses on twin beds downstairs, give couches a cleaning, kitchen needs a cheese grater, electric grill needs replacing, hot tub blower not working. All very minor details, overall the house was really set up for family and doggie fun!

A good place to stay for our family of 4 plus the dog. Hot tub, volleyball/badminton sand court, horse shoe pits on site and the pool is just a block away. Biggest downside for us was the number of yellow-jackets attracted to the deck area, manageable but annoying with small kids to consider. There are 3 separate bedrooms (2 queens and a double twin) and a large room upstairs with 2 bunk bed and a double which was great for the kids. We would go back and we would definitely consider this home for a ski trip with another family. The rental folks were very responsive and accomodating

This is a beautiful, quiet and private property with amazing views throughout the house! We truly felt like we were escaping the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed cooking out on the deck, playing badminton and horseshoes and relaxing in the jacuzzi. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Location was perfect as it was a short drive to the beach, restaurants, grocery store, hiking trails and the river as well. I was concerned that the upstairs might be too hot as there is not air conditioning and the temperature in the daytime was in the mid 80's, but by sundown, the rooms were cool and everyone slept comfortably. We were very pleased with the communication from the property management company and appreciated the helpful tips about the area. This was our first visit to Lake Tahoe in the summertime and we are already talking about returning next summer!
