Tash Vacation Cabin

The house/cabin was perfect and is exactly as pictured in photos. The location is good since you are between King’s beach, Truckee and Tahoe city for shops and restaurants.

The house was exactly as it was listed. It was comfortable and the location was fantastic. You can get to everything that the lake has to offer easily. The host was responsive and helpful.

Quiet and cozy cabin in the woods. Description on line was accurate and on point. Hard to be disappointed in the great north Tahoe shore atmosphere.

Lovely little updated cabin in North Tahoe with the cleanest hot tub I've ever experienced from an rental place! The kitchen was well stocked with decent pots, pans and sharp knives... plenty of towels, and updated bathrooms. The house overall is small, and would be tight for 7 people, but it was the perfect size for our small family + dog. We loved how easy it was to zip up to Truckee and right by Kings beach. One thing to note, like most places in Tahoe this place has a bunch of stairs to get up to the main entrance, you will def will get your workout in. We would rent it again!

Nice place - was definitely clean and had plenty of utensils/cooking supplies. Hot tub was super nice!

This Airbnb was perfect for a get away to the mountains. A short drive to the lake and numerous things to do including casinos, restaurants and bars. Check out mountain biking the flume trail!

This home was a peaceful respite with lake views. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the new brand couch was really nice to relax on after a long day. A few things that I especially appreciated: The hot tub can get up to a great hot temp and it was very clean. The art inside the home really makes you feel like you are in Tahoe. This home is in a quaint and woodsy neighborhood with an easy and peaceful loop for morning dog walks. The Hosts were especially helpful and easy to communicate with. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone and would stay here again.

Wonderful place! We had a great time. Only drawback was the steps leading up to the house. No problem for younger visitors, but was a bit too much for us old people in our 70's. Otherwise would love to come back.

We had a good time at this Lake Tahoe cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and had nice forest views. The host was friendly and responsive. Good location, we could walk to the lake or to go get coffee in the morning. Would visit again.

The cabin is lovely! Well updated, peaceful setting, beautiful views! The patio is extremely relaxing with comfortable furniture, grill was amazing and the hot tub was perfection! This was a great little place for my family of 5 to stay before traveling onto the next destination. The cabin sits up on the hillside so you have the option of steep stairs or you can take a path up either side of the house. The deck was our favorite place to hang out, great view and comfortable chairs!

This is not fancy, it's a cabin in the woods. It has both great & not so great qualities. Please read all of the notes from the company on the property (steep stairs, etc) & read all of the reviews. Great: location (short drive to a beach), hot tub is nice at night, pet friendly. Not so great: Bring your own spices if you plan on cooking, bring/buy tin foil, sandwich bags, hand soap (they give a tiny bar), etc. Management needs to update the linens, housekeeping was 7/10, there is no AC but they do supply many fans. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Just being transparent. Sometimes the dog friendly properties do "lack" a little something because some dog owners aren't the most responsible.

Great location in a quiet and nice neighborhood. Biggest surprise was how large and nice the two bathrooms were(no pictures on listing). Plenty of room inside for people to eat and hangout and a large deck to enjoy the evening. A clean and homey place. I would stay again. Lake Tahoe was one of the most beautiful places I've visited.

Our stay at this cabin was great, the hot tub is a great feature to relax after a long day of hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, etc. The interior was kept clean, nice appliances, and restrooms/showers. The cabin was in a great location, very close to the lake and a nice area to explore in town. The property could be cleaned up a bit more, but overall it was a nice neigherbood. Highly recommend & will be booking again someday!

Nice ,comfortable ,clean , private cabin in a safe ,convenient neighborhood. The hot tub was a nice addition .There are roughly 12 steep steps up to the home, which could be an issue for those who aren’t able to climb stairs easily.

We had a lovely time in this home. So relaxing to sit out on the deck with a cocktail or glass of wine. Agate was very responsive.

Great place to stay for a few days. Wish I could have stayed longer. Peace and quiet.

Exactly what we expected!

It was a beautiful cabin in North Tahoe, fairly close to the shore, two miles or less from nearby restaurants, and cozy. It was everything we had hoped for.

Great location, Beautiful views of mature pine trees through large bay windows in the living area. The High vaulted wood ceilings, wood burning fireplace and hot tub was memorable for our family trip. Great wifi and Smart TV for use. Great communication by property manager.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Got a ton of snow which made for a memorable trip.

This cabin is close to all the beaches and downtown. The neighborhood is walkable and very quiet. The house was clean and the kitchen was well equipped (with the exception of a cutting board :) The check in/out was super easy and the property manager was very helpful with the minor issue we had. The stairs to the house are VERY steep, if you are someone who has mobility issues this might property not be the best option for you.

Very clean and easy to get to! Cabin was definitely smaller than the photos portrayed - and the beds were not super comfortable. Other than that - nothing to complain about! Hot tub was amazing and the trees and backyard all around were a big plus!! Thanks again!!

Great, quiet place to take in the beauty of Lake Tahoe!

It is a beautiful home, but very upset about 4 pm check in time. That is way to late, and felt I should be able to check in eariler to enjoy the time and house in Tahoe. That's why I felt it was over priced. Then check out is really early so you get ripped off with the time vs. How much you are paying. Doors didn't lock from patio and were afraid of bears coming in.

We rented the Tash home over the 4th of July for a week. The home is much smaller than it appears in the pictures and we found this very disappointing. My in-laws joined us for a short time and it wasn't clear to me that both master bedrooms did not include the bathrooms in suite. No privacy. This is clearly a one family home. The outside deck is spacious with beautiful furniture. Hot tub and grill are in good working condition. There is no storage at all in this home and very little extras. No beach towels, chairs, salt & pepper, extra garbage bags etc. Bring every single thing you will need with you. We rented this house to have access to the pier and a buoy for our boat. Good location, easy to walk to the pool and even the pier. Be aware of the steep staircase--wouldn't reccomend for older poeple at all. Everyone we met at the pier, pool and neighborhood were super friendly and helpful. Great community of people who have rented or lived there for years--very sweet and family friendly.

Spent a long weekend in this cabin. It allowed pets so we were able to bring our large dog who loved playing in the snow in the mountains surrounding the cabin. The cabin itself was all woood and very cozy. I would definitely stay there again

We loved staying at Tash! We were able to relax the moment we opened the door! It was great we could bring our 75 lb. laborador with us and he was very comfortable in this home with plenty of room to play inside and outside. We found Tash to be well furnished and enjoyed that it is set in a very quiet neighborhood and the house backed up to the forest....which provided a lot of privacy. Hot tub set in the back of the house was private and really nice after a long day. The floor to ceiling windows in the family room provided a great view of the lake for breakfast! House, furnishings, and property big enough for kids too! We will stay at Tash again and would definitely recommend staying at Tash for family (including FIDO) or for a romantic getaway!

The house was easy to book online and we were able to check in early and check out late (we got lucky). The location was perfect for us and our dog with a great trail directly behind the house for us all. The lake with a dog friendly beach was only about a 20 or 30 minute walk away. The house was actually smaller than the online pictures make it look, but overall it was very comfortable and we would definitely go back.

All in all a great weekend. Agate realty gave good service before the arrival and the place was clean & as promised when we arrived. Arrangements with the swim club & pier also went well. So, a good experience all round.

My husband and I loved this place. We take our anniversary vacation every year at this time. The Tash House was absolutely perfect. It was private, well furnished and even had a view. We brought our dog which was a nice addition to our trip. It is close to everything yet far enough away to be quiet. We will be back.

The cabin was excellent. Great views from the deck, and I especially loved the elegant kitchen. The only draw back no master bath, two lovely designed baths and a wonderful rain shower make up for the lack of a master suite.

We went to the Tash house for a long weekend with my husband's parents who flew in from the UK. We had such a wonderful stay. The house is done very tastefully with a gourmet kitchen. The rooms are cozy and comfortable and it's nice to have 2 separate bathrooms.It also has a lovely deck with a panoramic view. Since you're surrounded by trees, it feels private. We watched a thunderstorm roll in one night through the big glass doors and sipped wine after a long hike. Heaven!I would highly recommend the Tash house.

My husband and I stayed at the Tash cabin for our honeymoon. The place was very nicely decorated and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely like to stay at one of the cabins again sometime.

The house was very comfortable and clean. The refrigerator dispensor for ice and water was not working. The TV and sound system was enjoyable and the hot tub was great!

There is nothing I would change about my stay at Tash house. The setting was perfect inside and out. We were able to walk out the back door and go for a hike, sit in the hot tub under the umbrella of the forest and sit in a comfy armchair in a sunny window and enjoy the view of the lake. The interior was tastefully done and really set the mood. I am looking forward to staying here again.

My wife and I rented this cabin from the folks at agate Bay and the owner for the winter months. We had an exceptional time, the owner and staff at agate Bay are courteous and helpful. The setting of this particular property is wonderful, it backs right up to state forest and you can sit out on the deck and look at the lake.

We had a wondeful time! The cabin was clean and beautiful and more comfortable than we could have imagined! We will definitely be back as this is our favorite cabin we have ever rented! Huge bonus for us was per friendly. Thank you!

House was great. Big wrap around deck with nice forest and small lake views. House is very private with nice wooded yard backing up to forest. Walking distance to pier and beach club, a plus w/kids. Furnishings very nice in house and very comfortable for us, our 2 kids and dog. Only real negative was the cleanliness of house could be improved on especially since it's a dog friendly house. Portable electric fans would also be nice as it was hot and stuffy with no aC. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would revisit as we love this location, the house and the amenities (pier/swim/tennis club) included.

Cabin was everything we hoped for. Not big, but a nice amount of space for five adults and two small children. Excellent location in terms of proximity to the nice beaches of north shore as well as within the neighborhood. The property backs up to timber and a short scramble up the hillside gives sweeping views of the entire lake. Beautiful deck with hot tub is a nice plus.

The service we received was friendly & professional.Not being familiar with the North Shore, Tahoe area, our rentalagent was most helpful with useful tips about the area, particularlylocal restaurants. The home we rented was impeccable. It featured allof the amenities we needed with an added benefit of being located in aquiet area. My favorite rental feature was the luxurious Hotub, but I also enjoyed staying in a home where the backyard area was right next to forested areas. I really enjoyed my stay & look forward to my nextvacation there!

My husband and I stayed at the Tash house for 3 nights. The house is in a great area (back is open space), is very nicely decorated, and has a spacious deck in front. We had a couple spend one night and they loved the house too. The house is a perfect size for two couples or one family (although three bedrooms, it is not a large home). There is a steep driveway and steep stairs leading to the house. Although this was okay for us, I would not recommend it for the elderly or young children. The house rental includes pool, pier, and tennis use. There is also a hot tub on the deck which we really liked. On the down side, we were supposed to spend four nights but left because of the heavy smoke from the Rim fire. I was very disappointed to leave this darling house but the air was affecting our breathing. Also, the owners should get some hornet traps as they were quite annoying on the deck where I loved to just sit and read.

We thoroughly loved our stay in this lovely home. It had everything a family needs to have a great time. Washer and dryer, well supplied kitchen (we do cook a lot), grill, hot tub... We had a great time here. We, my husband and I, took our two adult kids, one with a family of 4 and had plenty of room. The only problem was the extra twin bed was in a room with the bunk beds. This wasn't a huge problem for us as my daughter wanted time with her niece and nephew but could be a problem for some. She did sleep one night on the couch in the living area. My daughter took her dog and the dog loved standing guard on the bench seat high up in the trees on the deck. Our back yard was the National Forest and we loved hiking right out our back door. Close to many things but you do have to drive. Being from Oklahoma, we were shocked to learn that they don't have air conditioning there but we were able to survive two days that were unseasonably hot by staying at the lake until early afternoon and then using the fans and open windows. By nighttime it was just fine to sleep. Lovely setting with a huge wrap around deck.

The view, hot tub and the deck make up for the small space of the house. About the only beef was an arcane music sound system that I couldn't figure out how to operate. As far as the TV goes...who goes to Lake Tahoe to watch TV in the first place? We had a wonderful time with 6 people living there.

Our stay with Agate Bay was very smooth. Check in and out were super easy as the agency communicated with us very well prior to arriving. The cabin was perfect for us, with all the amenities (hot tub, BBQ grill, etc.) functioning perfectly. The location of the house provided easy access to both South and East Lake. Overall a perfect, lovely stay!

Terrific cabin that feels both secluded and private but is very close to the lake and nearby attractions. We would definitely stay again!

We had the most amazing stay at this Tahoe cabin. The company was very easy to work with and responsive to any questions we may have had. We arrived pretty late in the evening on our check-in day and just picked up the keys from the office which was close by. We enjoyed the location, deck and hot tub. It was so nice waking up every morning and looking out into the woods. It was a quick drive to many different restaurants, beaches and bars. We want to come back next year!

We had a wonderful long weekend here, that cabin is beautiful, the fireplace is amazing, cooking in was a ton of fun and out two pooches were running around free. Highly recommended getaway.

Beautiful and cozy interior but the co2 detector went off the second night. They said it was low battery but still i had to call fire station to check and it made it uneasy to sleep.

We really enjoyed our stay: the cabin is cozy, kitchen well-stocked and hot tub is marvelous. The place is not huge, but more than enough for the family of 4-5. The photos are accurate, the location is convenient, and local tips from the host are useful. Great holiday break for our family!

Great house, great location. 4 out of 5 stars because the beds were not very comfortable. Kitchen supplies had everything we needed. Hot tub fit 6 people comfortably. Good long weekend house.

This charming 4 bedroom cabin was perfect for our family get-together in Carmelian Bay. It was close to all we wanted to do around the lake (mountain biking, jetskiing, kayacking, mini-golf) while being up the hill and at the edge of the forest where it was quiet and adjacent to lovely hiking trails.

This was the perfect place for 6 adults for the weekend. Close proximity to the lake, hiking, restaurants, grocery store, etc. We spent a lot of time on the deck and in the hot tub. Agate Bay Realty was a great host. They checked in with us and the place was very clean. Would recommend!

My family and I loved our time at the cabin. We were looking for a quiet, isolated stay and that exactly what we found. It was a great base to explore Tahoe from and the hot tub was a real treat on the cold nights.

Really nice cabin in a convenient and beautiful part of Tahoe. It was easy to get in touch for any questions. The house was well-equipped for cooking, watching movies, and relaxing. Hot tub looks into the forest and view under the stars is perfect!

This place located in a nice area which is close to Safeway and the beach. Also, the private hot tub is nice and the side yard is big enough for kids to build a snowman.

Our family of four plus our small dog really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin. The location is fantastic, very close to the lake, restaurants and shopping. We especially liked that there was a bit more open space around this cabin compared to others in the neighborhood. We used the hot tub daily during our stay, that was a nice option to have. Check-in and check-out were simple and the host was easy to communicate with. No issues at all, would absolutely love to stay again!

This cabin is adorable! We were very happy that the photographs clearly depicted the cabin, and it was just as beautiful in person. The kitchen was very well appointed and had all we needed to stay for a few days. The way the hot tub was situated made the cabin feel very secluded, and looking behind the cabin at a wall of trees was amazing. The house was very clean and other than the steps, a walkway had been shoveled to the front door which was much appreciated. The area was very quiet, and we only heard dogs barking in the neighborhood once! If I return to Tahoe I would not hesitate to rent this house again.
